The Senior Program Manager is intended to support an interim organization structure in which the IT function reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as chief of staff to Chief Financial Officer for the IT function
• Oversee portfolio of IT projects across multiple work streams, including but not limited to:
• IT infrastructure (enterprise hardware, security, support desk, network, vendors)
• Core development (proprietary medical center workflow and medical records solution)
• Exploratory development (next gen EHR solution, strategic partnerships, and roadmap)
• Develop and track integrated project plans across work streams and deliver the following:
• Transparent reporting of project/program status, milestones, dependencies, issues/risks, root cause analysis, and executive interventions required
• Objective, fact-based recommendations to executives via reports and live presentations/meetings.
• Increase stability, reduce costs, and improve compliance and security
• Improve functionality, sustainability, and adoption of IT solutions
• Define the scope, components, and roadmap for future EMR software
• Drive execution of the following short, medium, and long-term activities and reports as follows:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE requirements:
• ·Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business administration or related, masters’ degree preferred
• 12+ years’ professional experience, with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a project/program management capacity for IT-related initiatives
• ·Expert knowledge of project/program management tools and activities including but not limited to: project scope/charter, business requirements, work breakdown structure (project plan), issues/risks log, status reports, and steering committee (purpose, facilitation, action-orientation)
• Basic understanding of the following:
• Hardware servers vs. cloud
• Java vs. .Net
• Architecture mapping
• Mastery level Microsoft Office skills
• PowerPoint – graphics, master slide formatting, notes development, and advanced storyboarding
• Word – reference and table creation, master formatting, and document structuring
• Excel – tracking, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
• Mastery level Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, or other project management software – work stream, task, dependencies, predecessors, Gantt, etc.
