Main Job Objective:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RETAIL AND LOGISTIC SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE)
The Senior Director of retail systems is responsible for managing the Sales and Logistics systems throughout their system activity lifecycle.
Must have experience with Sales and Logistics systems.
This role manages the day to day support activities of the Sales and Logistics group as well as contributing to the strategic direction of the IT system model supporting this area. Assists in specifying and maintaining, Dynamics AX, A2000 and other Sales and Logistics systems with The Director of Technology Architecture and Delivery. Provides functional support and technical insight in the areas of system administration, problem resolution, application support, process mapping, system testing, security access, and training.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
• Provides functional system leadership in the Sales and Logistics area
• Provides strategic and tactical input to IT planning and road mapping
• Liaise with Business Process Owners and technical staff to ensure that the ERP and associated systems are supported and that issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Ensure that policies and procedures governing IT systems and development are closely followed
• Work with end-users to analyze, design, test, and implement enhancements and smaller add-on applications
• Manage internal and external functional support resources to provide support for the Sales and Logistics functions and related systems 24x7x365
• Drive out functional system knowledge to Level 1 support for quicker resolution times
• Manage the Sales and Logistics Applications Service Desk queue, assigning and resolving issues to meet and exceed SLA’s
• Provide and facilitate level 2 and level 3 support for the Sales and Logistics systems
• Prepare functional use cases for new requests and enhancements
• Prepare test plans and evaluate test results for application implementations, modifications, and upgrades
• Coordinate the design and testing of application/database system upgrades with users and technical staff
• Develop and update training materials as needed
• Occasional travel (<20%)

Principal Skills, Knowledge and Personal Attributes Required:
• A Bachelor degree in a related field with more than eight years of experience or an Associate Degree with more than twelve years of experience
• Experience implementing and/or supporting an ERP system (Dynamics AX preferred, NV/SL/GP, SAP, Oracle, etc).
• Experience with sales (multi-door and boutique, wholesale and retail), sales planning, customer service, delivery windows, markets, returns processing, sales reporting, sales budgeting processes required
• Experience with supply chain, orders, shipping methods, status’, freight forwarding, approaches (Ship to/Mark For, etc.) EDI, inventory turn, warehouse methodologies and other supply chain concepts and processes required
• Experience with 3PL’s and WMS systems
• Understanding of SDLC and working within a controlled framework of corporate IT governance.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions, read and interpret technical manuals and documentation, coordinate project implementation, diagnose end user and application issues and provide solutions or escalate appropriately.
