Middleware Ecommerce Engineer Job Requirements:
4 6 years of experience working in the ecommerce technology space
4 6 years working with IBM Liberty, Tomcat and IBM WebSphere (Base/ND)
Exposure and preferably experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce Server
Experience with and familiarity with NoSQL (Cassandra) database technologies as well as relational databases (Will train on NoSQL if they do not have)
Linux/Unix platform expertise
Experience with Apache and preferably experience with Reverse Proxies
Experience with firewalls and common ecommerce security frameworks
Strong communication skills, as this person will have frequent one-on-one interaction with other developers and team members
Needs to be able to “hit the ground running . Will be trained in some of the harder to find skill sets, but should already be solid in all things Middleware
Bonus Skills:
Associates degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position.
4 6 years of experience in supporting IT Infrastructure or Security services
Exposure to Agile development methodologies preferred but not required
Some background in Java development a plus but not required
