Ensure the right product is developed to meet or exceed Company’s business requirements delivered on time.
Lead Program Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives.
Track program against its schedule, budget and phase review objectives.
Report status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis.
Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
Coordinate with customers, to provide necessary program status and obtain customer feedback.
Collaborate with functional teams to assure program plans and delivery dates are communicated.
Interact with customers at the technical/business level, as required.
Recommend new/improved processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery.
Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.
Develop and maintain superior relationships with key customer accounts.
Arrange training required within the strategic accounts.
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or financial discipline.
5-10 years experience as a technical program/project manager in an online commerce or software venue.
General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, test engineering, and quality systems.
Strong influence-management, negotiation, leadership and assertiveness skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies, SDLC, and problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.
