We are seeking a multitalented Desktop Support Technician to serve as our Tier 1 Helpdesk.
Responsibilities
- Provide across the board Tier 1 Helpdesk support for the company. Field and track incoming user requests and escalate as needed.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of desktop PCs, laptops and related hardware
- Configure and install new desktop/laptop hardware, software, printers, etc.
- Ensure company desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices follow established corporate standards
- Manage computer and mobile update process so that all devices are kept current and up to date
- Assist in larger IT projects such as office moves, network design, asset tracking and disposal, data backups, and phone systems

Technical Skills:
- AA degree or better in a technical field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years experience with PC hardware and software, printers, phones, laptops, and mobile devices
- Experience supporting Windows XP, Windows 7, Backups, Cloud Services, Office 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, iOS and Android devices
- Experience with security and protection tools, Antivirus and Malware detection and removal
Familiarity with the following: TCP/IP networking, VPN, Wi-Fi, VOIP, Windows DFS, Data Backups, Asset Tracking
- The following skillsets would be considered a plus: Sonicwall firewalls, Windows Server, Cisco network devices, and industry certifications such as A+, Network +, or MCP
