Sr. Project Manager Must have SDLC and experience in Healthcare
Position is based in Fort Lauderdale
Demonstrated ability to lead a team through the full SDLC
Advanced planning and coordination skills
Highly organized and able to manage multiple vendors.
Ability to prioritize competing project interests and triage critical project and non-project issues
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Beginner-level knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and ScrumMaster knowledge is strongly preferred
Full SDLC of project of high complexity and team size
Stakeholder identification, analysis, and management planning
Definition and communication of project scope, goals, and deliverables to a cross functional team
Facilitate meetings including Scheduling, creation of Agendas, and distribution of Action Items
Creation and use of project documentation including, but not limited to Project Plans, Risk Assessments, and Project Status
Participate in and lead culture and organization changes within the Project Management Group
Leadership and mentorship of Project Team
Work with resources on the Project Team as well as external stakeholders and IT Senior Management to proactively identify and resolve roadblocks / issues
Create project structure and motivational systems for the Project Team
Participate in Project Audits and Root Cause Analysis to identify and disseminate best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree obtained through a formal 4-year program and six (6) years of relevant IT experience.
• PMP certification required. Healthcare experience preferred.
• Candidate must have five (5) years of Project Management experience focusing in large scale (>2500 desktops) technical projects for SANS, WiFi, Service Consolidation, Windows OS upgrades,etc.
• Candidate needs to have strong infrastructure experience overseeing LAN/WAN, and data center migrations and co-location.
• Extensive experience in the development and maintenance of PMO policies and methodologies is preferred.
