Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will be a member the LNG Plant Engineering Team, reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer, that provides support for the Kitimat LNG Plant Project from CPDEP Phase 3 (FEED) through Phase 4 (detailed design). Position will serve as a Company representative, in the Contractor’s office and will be part of a multi-functional project team. Responsible for providing technical review of the electrical design of substations including transformers, swichgear and breakers, UPS systems, power management / load shedding, transmission and distribution systems ensuring that it meets Company and British Columbia codes, standards and specifications, Company basis of design and safety standards. Reviews contractor’s key discipline deliverables and works with Lead Electrical Engineer to ensure Company project requirements are met. ”
Experience
BSEE 5 years experience
Major capital project experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in multi-discipline teams, including contractors and vendors, through detailed design and fabrication. Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced Project environment.
