Analyze business applications and performs data mapping based off clients needs.
Supports Implementation and QA efforts as needed to document test cases, and to perform testing of various applications/systems through to product release.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as a subject matter expert and liaison with the business units for process and requirements gathering
• Conduct customer requirements meetings
• Identify strategies and approaches based off of best practices
• Develop Business Requirements, Detailed Functional Specifications, Technical Data Mapping, Process Flows, Use Cases, Test Data, Test Plans, etc.
• Define, gather, and perform data mapping based off of customer requirements
• Act as implementer among internal/external clients and technology group in order to deliver results
• Work with technical staff to resolve requirements issues and ensure requirements are being met
• Conduct system /integration testing, document and manage defects/issues, and coordinate defect resolution and retest fixes
Required Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication is critically essential
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst
• 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including EXCEL, SQL Enterprise Studio, and Visio, Sharepoint are required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, MindManager, Mercury Quality Center, Business Objects (Crystal Reporting) and Project management methodology knowledge (PMBOK) exposure are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required
