The Active Directory Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, cleanup and security compliance. Position is Based in Austin, TX
Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory administration (design, cleanup & troubleshooting)
Maintains security compliance based on business requirements.
Reviews and revises database designs and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met.
Clean-up of database structures based on detailed design.
Performs database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results.
Provides support during the system implementation and production.
Creates and populates metadata and plans and participates in unit testing for data validation.
Evaluates test results for fulfillment of all data requirements.
Develop conceptual or general designs, including logical design of databases, access methods, metadata presentation, etc.
Details all aspects of functional designs, including record layouts, pseudo-code, detailed data mapping, etc.
Provides ongoing support of business, including ongoing data analysis, data quality testing, enhancement of metadata, etc
Understanding of basic SQL commands necessary to perform administrative functions
Thorough knowledge of and experience with partitioning strategies and management
Required Competencies:
Experience with support of high volume Active Directory and Cleanup
Ability to plan work to meet project deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities and escalate issues appropriately
Superior communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), customer service-oriented
Strong problem solving skill set, and the ability to understand new technologies quickly are essential
Experience monitoring database management systems as well as evaluating database performance to maximize efficiency
Experience working in an environment that follows strict change management and standardization processes
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
5 or more years of experience in Active Directory
Experience with Security Compliance
