Analyst Job Description, Experience and Skills Needed
• Experience with RFX process. Aid in the implementation of future out-sourcing opportunities, Use RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and e-auctions, e-exchanges (e.g. Develop RFx and e-auction documents).
• Ability to communicate clearly to suppliers and internal customers regarding requirements, terms and conditions, KPI’s, etc…
• Prepare market intelligence of appropriate supply / technology market, Conduct ongoing supplier benchmarking.
• Design and prepare cost models.
• Monitor and track ongoing supplier performance data / KPIs
• Calculates, analyses and records savings for their assigned categories
• Owns cost-based negotiations for less complex projects.
• Extract, manages and maintains data integrity and quality in procurement systems
• Manages the supplier onboarding process from contracting to implementation. Participates in supplier performance program development and execution
• Conduct analysis of spending patterns for savings opportunities across assigned categories.
• Global Credit card Management – Daily Activates include processing card applications, monitoring spend and account status. Account set up with Vendor Controls.
• Batch payment monitoring
• Customer Service – Account reconciliation, clean up.
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree, Supply Chain discipline preferred but not essential
• 2+ years of experience of broad based Supply Chain responsibilities, Procurement
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous work experience in a Procurement-related field preferred
• Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and scale with the company
• MBA in supply chain is preferred but not required
