Carvechi is hiring for a Web Business Analyst with experience in managing web projects.
Position is based in Miami, FL
The Business Analyst is responsible for interfacing with business requirements, managing multiple projects as well as analyzing and troubleshooting software problems and recommend viable solutions.
Business Analyst for web will support existing infrastructure and manage implementation of new technologies and keep up to date with new cutting edge web technology developments to meet market standards.
Position Responsibilities:
¥ Document business needs, being able to distinguish between needs and wants; identify gaps between business needs and standard web functionality; design and document solutions that fill the gaps; provide detailed business requirements specifications for web developers.
¥ Develop documentation to cover development of website and mobile applications including testing and evaluation to ensure quality and consistency.
¥ Business Analyst will lead daily meetings with business leaders & development teams to gather or communicate requirements and/or status updates.
¥ Develop and maintain end user training documentation and deliver training to users as required.
¥ Develop and maintain business process documentation and redesign activities.
¥ Provide day to day support for a group of websites, mobile applications and their respective back end systems.
¥ Provide guidance for system/process workflow template development and data filtering criteria.
¥ Ensure consistency of Web & mobile application conventions.
¥ Provide after-hours support & problem resolution as needed.
¥ Perform other job related functions as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
¥ 2-5 years Web applications experience. Experience gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups. Drupal CMS, Rational Team Concert (RTC) experience, preferred.
¥ 5 years Business Analyst experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
¥ Proven analytical skills. Superb written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills.
¥ Solid problem solving skills as well as demonstrated analytical and qualitative abilities.
¥ Ability to work under pressure and meet constantly changing timelines. Understanding of Business Analytics, metrics that drive management decisions, and the ability to build reports and queries to support such metrics.
