Carvechi is hiring for a Sharepoint Engineer based in Austin, TX
The SharePoint Office365 Engineer will be responsible for Level2/3 support of the SharePoint Office365 applications. The engineer will work closely with the Level1 support team giving guidance on user administration. It is open only to candidates who have recently designed and administrated cloud-based, Microsoft Office365 and the MS Online suite of applications (e.g. Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype for Business).
Responsibilities
Monitoring and maintenance of on-premises Exchange 2010 messaging infrastructure, troubleshooting issues to ensure continued, uninterrupted operations.
Migration to Office 365 Exchange Online and Lync/Skype For Business.
Deployment & maintenance 365 SharePoint Online environment for collaboration and knowledge management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technology related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience developing and administering SharePoint Online tenants using Office365.
Minimum 3 years’ experience using the SharePoint client software application (versions 2007 and above).
3-5 years’ experience with on-premises Exchange 2010/2013 enterprise messaging, including highly-available multi-datacenter infrastructures (DAG’s).
Experience in configuring, migrating, and management of MS Office365 applications (Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint Online).
Comfort using MS PowerShell for administration and other tasks, scripting/automation of processes, and issue resolution.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Thorough understanding of core Infrastructure services and functions (DNS, IIS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.).
Basic familiarity with Active Directory and its relationship to other Microsoft applications.
Document approval workflows and configuration of hybrid cloud document repository management
SharePoint Designer experience to create and manage online Web Part and template galleries
SharePoint Online privileged access administration (e.g. Owners groups, shares, site collections and sub-site access)
Experience working with Mobile device management solutions.
Experience working in a VMWare VSphere Infrastructure.Ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in written and verbal form.
