DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, design, develop, operate and maintain Web based systems. Solutions include 3rd party and internally developed applications/infrastructure and support specification, installation, testing and monitoring of Web based systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
¥ Support highly complex Web based systems and assist with level 2 support for enterprise Web based systems.
¥ Partner with vendor support organizations to document and resolve complex technical problems.
¥ Manage ticket life cycle by monitoring, tracking and closing resolved tickets. Deliver assigned application development tasks and projects.
¥ Ensures key performance indicators and interconnections with other systems are operational and do not exceed established thresholds.
¥ Independently implement efficient and logical databases required for enterprise WEB based systems of significant complexity. Prepare detailed specifications from which new systems or major enhancements will be developed.
¥ Perform complete testing of Web applications, engaging users as necessary.
¥ Demonstrate technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
¥ Maintain technical expertise in most areas of Web technologies, databases and computer hardware.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS, or related field of study or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
¥ Minimum 3 years of experience with relational databases and developing systems under the MVC Framework.
¥ Minimum 6 years of experience in Web technologies in structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Proficiency with Apache, HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, JSON, PHP, Drupal and SQL. Significant knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures along with experience maintaining and/or developing high-performance systems. Possesses demonstrated work experience with more than one relational database management system.
Good verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
