What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
Must have experience managing multiple projects at once.
Lead Program Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives.
Track program against its schedule, budget and phase review objectives.
Report status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis.
Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
Interact with customers at the technical/business level, as required.
Recommend new/improved processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery.
Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or financial discipline.
• 5-10 years’ experience as a technical program/project manager.
• General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, test engineering, and quality systems.
• Strong influence-management, negotiation, leadership and assertiveness skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrated skills with Agile project management and PMP certified.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must have experience leading daily and weekly team meetings, creating project charters,
project plans, status reports, meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
• Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.
