Job Requirements are below:
1. Bachelor’s degree obtained through a formal 4-year program, Master degree preferred
2. Seven Years of Healthcare IT or business unit experience required.
3. Candidates with a clinical background (RN, ARNP, Pharm.D) are preferred.
4. Candidate must have experience in implementing major clinical systems.
5. Candidate must have knowledge of Cerner Millennium systems including but not limited to; Discern Expert (Rules), Powerplans, interface testing and Command Language (CCL/Discern Explorer).
6. Prefer a candidate with clinical trial management system experience specifically Velos.
7. Candidate will be responsible for supporting research staff including research coordinators, primary investigators, research nurses, pharmacists, IT and the healthcare executive teams in the clinical transformation to an automated research model.
8. Successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, project leadership skills and have actively worked in a strong matrix team environment.
9. Additional responsibilities include: system design and upgrade planning and execution, software customization, implementation, and testing.
10. Candidate should also be familiar with change control and project management.
11. Provides on-call support.
