This role combines a day-to-day systems support role with a project facing finance systems role. The position is based in New York City and is contract to hire.
Responsibilities:
· Provide support for the following accounting packages:
o Dynamics AX 2012 (US office; 20+ users)
o Atlas for Microsoft Dynamics AX
· Provide project implementation support for finance system projects:
o Maconomy V2 migration and roll-out to US and Canada
· Conduct user training both planned and ad-hoc
· Maintain the systems support wiki pages
· Ensure business processes in-and-around the finance systems are SOX compliant
· Provide ad-hoc reporting
· Data cleansing to ensure existing data will be ready for migration to the new Maconomy V2 ERP system.
Job requirements:
Previous experience of Dynamics AX2012 and Atlas for Microsoft Dynamics AX is essential
· Good working knowledge of Excel and Access (intermediate VBA skills)
· Have some working experience of conducting finance based projects
· Needs to be organised, pro-active, excellent communication skills, and able to multi-task
· Needs to have good analytical skills with attention to detail
